The 5 Pants Every Man Should Own

The 5 Pants Every Man Should Own

Pants are important, but what most men don’t realize is you should have different types of pants for different occasions and activities that you engage in.

We all know (or currently are) that guy that only wears his one pair of jeans – no matter what they’re doing, or where they’re at.

but you can look a lot sharper and more fashionable if you have different types of pants you can wear that fit what you’re engaging in better.

                              1. Classic Blue Jeans

You can’t go wrong with these bad boys (well you can if you get a pair that is ill fitting).

Blue jeans are the foundation of your pants empire, your main pair of blue jeans should be:

  • High quality
  • Properly Fitting
  • Comfortable

To get a pair of blue jeans of that caliber you will need to dish out for quality, I recommend:

                                    2. Chino Pants

A nice pair of Chinos goes a long way.

The color you choose is up to personal preference, but if this is your first time dabbling into the world of chinos I recommend choosing a more standard color.

A classic pair of khaki or grey chinos can fit easily into your existing wardrobe.

                                      3. Trousers

Trousers are kind of a wide category, they can cover anything from dress pants to well – anything that really goes over your legs.

In this case, I love the current trend of cropped trousers. Pair them with some clean white sneakers and you can’t get a better summer look.

                                      4. Sweatpants

Sweatpants have come such a long way in the fashion world that they’re no longer relegated to those loose grey sweats you only bust out when you’re at home and you know you’re not leaving the house.

A nice pair of well fitting / tapered sweats can look amazing and can be used for anything from going to the gym, or running errands on a Sunday while still looking sleek (yet comfortable!)

                              5. Distressed Denim

Distressed denim or ‘ripped jeans’ are more of a young mans pair of pants but I still think they look amazing if you’re going for a more chic, trendy, streetwear look.

Pair your ripped jeans with a plain white or black tee and that’s really all you need to look amazing.

5 Beard Styles You Need To Know In 2020

In the past few years facial hair has morphed from money-saving ruse (it’s no coincidence that the rise of the beard ran parallel with the global economic recession) into the ultimate style accessory — and one that’s not just an adjunct to your overall look but an expression of the inner you, too.                  Ten years ago a beard, goatee or jazz spot almost acted as a contraceptive, but the same YouGov survey showed that only a third of young women prefer men without some form of fuzz.                   The fact that so many celebrities are also sporting facial furniture has helped, too. Try imagining the likes of Drake, Idris Elba or David Beckham without their signature beards and you’ll see how much it’s embedded itself into the public consciousness. Wh...

How to dress well: 15 rules all men should learn

There are enough rules in life as it is. Some, however, are there to help. Like the rules that govern how to dress well. Of course, every man or woman that has an opinion on such things speaks from personal experience – and no doubt what works for one doesn’t always work for another; or what works for one is considered too pedestrian or too avant-garde by another. So, when it comes to dressing, they always have to be taken at face value. They’re solid suggestions rather than the last word on style. But good advice is never to be sniffed at, and, as menswear becomes ever more rich and varied, ever more experimental and abundant, ever more trend-aware, in moments of confusion and self-doubt, it can help to have a valuable fall-back position that cuts through the clutter. These ‘rules’ tend to be founded in history – they’ve worked for generations, so might well be assumed to work well today too. And they tend t...

7 Types Of Shirt That Every Man Should Own

Essentials: The Types of Shirt Every Man Should Own Types Of Shirt – An Introduction A common mistake men continue make when it comes to their wardrobe is making impulse purchases without any second thought or pre-planning. I myself have been guilty of this crime; I currently own eight white t-shirts, even though I can only wear one at a time. The truth is, I had long been searching for the  perfect white tee  before I landed on the perfect one for me: Sunspel’s Classic Cotton T-Shirt in a medium. But this same problem has crept into other categories of clothing – for example, I own five  Oxford cloth button-down  types of shirt, all in light blue. “If you buy quality, you only cry once.” In hindsight I would have read a trusted source of information, identified key items in each category and invested in the best of the best. Sure, the initial investment might have been punchy, but you get what you pay for. Certain brands ...
